Our dear prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away last night. He's been such a force for good and he will be missed. Our sweet Spencer cried when we told him. My first thought was how happy he must be now that he's reunited with his sweet wife, Marjorie. I know that he was a prophet of the Lord and that when he spoke, it was to testify of Jesus Christ. He was a marvelous man. We love you, President Hinckley.

We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet
Our dear prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away last night. He's been such a force for good and he will be missed. Our sweet Spencer cried when we told him. My first thought was how happy he must be now that he's reunited with his sweet wife, Marjorie. I know that he was a prophet of the Lord and that when he spoke, it was to testify of Jesus Christ. He was a marvelous man. We love you, President Hinckley.

I totally agree with you! He is going to be missed. When we heard the news we knew he eventually would pass away but not this soon. I had high expectations that he'd live til he was a 100 with all his energy he's had in his final years. Love the post!
I suppose that our sadness is Heaven's exultation! I am so grateful that he has been so vibrant and visible up until the end so that we have been able to witness his testimony in action.
